Northern Cyprus and Turkey are joining forces in health tourism! Joint projects, promotional campaigns and international cooperation activities will be launched for 2025 targets.

 

President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, MP Dr. Ahmet Savaşan and Dr. Köksal Holoğlu, President of the Turkish Health Tourism Development Council, came together in Istanbul to discuss new cooperation opportunities in the field of health tourism.

During the meeting, a strategic roadmap for 2025 was determined to further develop health tourism between the two countries.

According to the information given by the Council, the growth potential of health tourism, opportunities for regional cooperation and what needs to be done to strengthen in global competition were discussed at the meeting. Savaşan drew attention to the increasing attractiveness of Northern Cyprus in health tourism and emphasized that joint projects to be carried out with Turkey will make significant contributions to the economy and health sector of both countries.

Prof. Dr. Köksal Holoğlu referred to Turkey's advanced health infrastructure and its success in accepting international patients and stated that the synergy to be achieved with Northern Cyprus will enable a stronger stance in the international arena.

JOINT PROMOTION CAMPAIGNS

The two presidents stated that new projects will be launched both locally and internationally to realize the 2025 targets. It was also agreed to cooperate in joint promotional campaigns, training programs and health tourism fairs.
